Beginning Natural Hoof Trimming -
Gain the confidence and knowledge to trim your own horse's feet or to do touch ups between farrier appointments.
In this six hour clinic, you will learn about nutrition as it relates to the hoof; benefits of the natural trim; hoof anatomy of external structures; tool use, care and handling; and trimming steps and guidelines. Plus, you will gain hands-on experience trimming cadaver hooves. Live horses will be available for demonstration purposes time permitting.
Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided.

Required Tools: rasp, hoof nippers, hoof knife, hoof pick and gloves.
