Jasper - Australian Cattle Dog
Jasper is my beloved. I chose him from a litter of pups when he was four days old. By the time he was six weeks old and nearing his time to come home, he knew he belonged to me. At eleven, he still knows that we belong together. The following pictures are of Jasper at the many places that he and I have visited in his life.

Left: Jasper sitting in a meadow near our home. A favorite place of mine, it is most beautiful in the spring.
Right: Jasper with pig friend.

Left: Jasper on hike to fire lookout tower near Sisters, Oregon.

Sicily - Australian Shephard
We got Sicily from a friend who was moving out of state and could not take all of her animals. Sicily has since been my mom's constant companion - never leaving her side.
Left: Sicily when she was still young and vibrant. She had so much hair.
Middle: Sicily out in the snow with her coat on. She lost her hair a few years back, and she never really grew it back. With a jacket, she still enjoys the snow.
Right: Sicily with her best woe-is-me look.
Indiana - Foster Dog
The dog everyone loves. Indiana spent a year with us while his family lived in a non-dog apartment for a year in Colorado. In May 2009, they found a house with a yard in Vail, Colorado, and Indian went home. He was a guest and we were blessed to have opportunity to get to know him. We miss him.
Left: Indiana surveying the gardent shortly after he arrived last year (May 2008).

Left: Indiana long-suffering the love of Elliot. Notice the open mouth demonstrating protest of the kitten cuddling with him.
